Transport Nerf Talk
EA / Dice, I'm probably in the minority here (in fact I'm fairly certain) but one of my favorite things to do in the game is to fly the transports. The Super-Hind and Condor specifically. I'm extremely skilled at it and on Breakthrough (which I play almost exclusively) if one of these vehicles is available in almost certainly going to grab it.
These vehicles have seen their nerf's throughout 2042's life cycle and having experienced the game from day 1, I feel these vehicles are in a very good state at the moment 👍🏾. But I'm hearing rumblings from YouTube cry baby channels that people (the YouTube people who seem to make everything happen) are now asking for these vehicles to be reduced to having virtually no offensive capabilities (managing them from the ground is the entire purpose of Rao which is a specialist I'd be hard pressed to believe anyone has logged more hours playing than me unless shown).
These vehicles SHOULD be seen as menacing to ground forces. They SHOULD force at team to come up with a plan. To utilize the tools that the specialists have (Rao's hacking ability, Lis's TV missle, engineer Javelin's, Crawford's turret etc.... I die to transports as well. But not everything should be made easy for people playing on the ground (this is not COD).
I'm asking that you stop for a second before another round of capitulation when it comes to the people who make content and have voices loud enough that you feel they represent all of us.
Please leave the transports where they are 🙏🏾. At the very least take a pole to see how the community feels about this. Would you like to see the Hind and Condor stripped of their main gun weaponry? Do you think that the LATV should just be about transporting and shouldn't have a 30 or 50mm cannon associated with them? Please ask and base your decisions off of real community feedback as opposed to listening to a handful of people who have platforms.
