Chapter 7 won’t end, stuck on “Launch Asteroid”

I launched the asteroid from the control room, taught through quarantine, ran to the elevator, and upon reaching the mining tram station the Chapter will not update and clear. When I go back to the room where you launch the asteroid the control screen has reset itself and keeps resetting itself to launch the asteroid even though there is no asteroid there anymore. Can’t progress to Chapter 8. I don’t have any save files beforehand that I can go back to. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the game, updated it. Not working.
