[Steam] Dead Space Co-op Failed to join game

Hello there!

I bought DS3 on Steam. It required EA to launch.
I have a problem with coop. Unable to join game and my friend is unable to join my game.

How to solve it? Tried Radmin VPN - no success.

Thank you in advance.

  • Hey mirandy01,

It sounds frustrating not being able to play co-op in Dead Space 3! Here are some steps that might help:

    1. Origin/EA App Linking: Make sure your EA/Origin account is correctly linked to your Steam account since Dead Space 3 relies on the EA platform.

    2. Firewall/Antivirus: Sometimes firewalls or antivirus programs can block online play. Ensure that both Dead Space 3 and the EA launcher are allowed through the firewall.

    3. NAT Settings: Check if your network is set up with an Open NAT (Network Address Translation). Strict NAT can prevent co-op play.

    4. Relaunch and Update: Restart the game and EA app, and make sure both are up-to-date.

    5. Port Forwarding: If NAT is strict, you might need to manually forward ports. For Dead Space 3, you can try forwarding ports TCP 80, 443, 8080, and UDP 3659.

    6. Use Same Region: Ensure both you and your friend have set the same region in the game’s settings.

    7. Radmin VPN Settings: If you're using Radmin VPN, ensure both of you are connected to the same network and have IP addresses configured correctly.

If none of these work, it may be helpful to contact EA Support or search for community forums where others have experienced this issue.

Good luck, and I hope you're able to enjoy co-op soon!
