Re: Cant download and install DLC. "Download Failed".

My problem goes deeper than this and it's really missing me off. I also posted on a new, separate ticket as no one else I've seen has the issue I'm having. I was bored and felt like replaying some old games I hadn't played in a while. Dao being1. I didn't have to reinstall at the time as everything still worked just fine. The 3-tab page that opens showed the dlc's available, the d-loaded progress tab and the installed tab. All good, all worked. Then after I started a new game and played till lothering, I spotted and article about all promo dlc being offered for free, so I decided may as well get everything, so I purchased all the adventure dlc's. That's when things got ugly. I had to manually d-load EVERYTHING as they did what e1 else has had happen..In the d-load area, all failed. So I enabled a file in the help link that showed after too many failed attempts(something about enabling some fiel called.....msc?). I can't remember now since I can't duplicate the event, d-loaded everything manually into 2 files. 1 for promo items, other for my dlc's and installed using the daupdater file within dao's installation(something bin?) after doing all of that my computer decided it wanted to crash.

Ever since then I can't do a damned thing on my computer, I turn it on and I can't get anything to work, not my av scan to see if something snuck in through the d-load as that seems to be the latest craze among hackers that they attach a file to downloadable content and piggy-back it into your system. Not saying that's the issue, but it's a possibility. I can't even shut down my computer normally. I have to shut the power manually. I can tell the computer's doing something during the shut down process, but no idea what. It's extremely frustrating.
