Re: No Xbox Live. How to import saved file?

Hmm, I've never actually considered that. I'd assume that you would need an Xbox live account, even if it's a free membership. And then you would need to import your choices from the keep to the Xbox. There must be tutorial videos on youtube or something. Wish I could help more but I moved from Xbox to PC.

How do I get a free membership? Also, you have to import your choices from the keep to the xbox? I don't understand. I thought the choices I made were in my previous saves in my Xbox HDD?

I am an offline player as well.
    Silver accounts are free.
But from what I've read, you only need to sign into Origins with your console. I've never at at home internet since I got my 360, so I'm not certain, but I know the PS3 could get online without using my Playstation account. If you can connect your 360 to the internet and use a browser from the console, I don't see why you would HAVE to have Xbox Live...
But I'm not sure if the 360 can do that. If not, silver accounts are free

Well, there we go. As unfair as it is to us offline players, you must buy their game that has the most bugs I've ever seen (basically we are their Beta testers) for 60 or 70 bucks, then we have to pay for at home internet service, AS WELL as have a Xbox Live account to import our previous saved story line.

Is there any chance Keep will be included on a disc later down the road? Like with a GOTY or Ultimate Edition release?

Saves aren't imported, but a worldstate from Dragon Age Keep is. There's a fair amount of info here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/INFO-Dragon-Age-Keep-and-Origin-account-management/m-p/3945637#U3945637

Gold is only needed for the multiplayer section, silver accounts can download from the keep.

I'm clear on most of the parts except Setting up the Tapestry section:

    • Sign into dragonagekeep.com using your Origin account.
    • After confirming that your Origin account is correct (it should be whichever account you used for DAO and/or DA2), you will be able to sync your data with the Keep.
      • Note: this does not import your game save files, but it does sync your heroes from previous games as well as certain accomplishments and DLC. If you haven't played DAO or DA2, you will be asked to choose and confirm a hero from a set of default heroes

What does it mean "whichever account you used for DAO and DA2? I've only now gotten an origin account, I never had it back then. What does this mean? I can't import my characters into the game? I understand the world state part, Site>Set up world>in game login same account>export world. Right? But what about Hawke and the Warden? I've only got my saved data on my xbox 360 HDD. How do I bring them in?

You need Xbox Live to use the login feature in-game, if I'm not mistaken.

The guy above who posted from EA verified that you need at least a Silver account

Which is free (but does require, you know, the internet...)
