Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition keeps crashing to desktop no error message, unplayable

Have the same problem, after few seconds/minutes the game crashes to desktop, no error message.

My PC:

Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit (all Updates installed)

Intel Core i5-4570

8GB RAM

MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G (4GB GDDR5)

Samsung Evo 840 SSD - 128GB

Toshiba HDD - 2TB

All drivers up to date, i also try older drivers, but it made no difference.

DirectX, .NET and C++ Redistribution are also up to date

Enable/Disable Origin in game

Enable/Disable cloud saving

Uninstall and Reinstall origin and DA:I

Disable and Uninstall Antivirus and Firewall

Try different settings (Low, Medium, Ultra, ...)

Try Fullscreen, Windowed Fullscreen and Windowmode

Install game and Origin on SSD and another time on HDD

Try it on Windows 7 64-Bit and Windows 8 64-Bit

Repair DA:I (via Origin)

Try Origin-Beta

Delete DA:I .exe and repair the game via Origin

Install it from DVD (the download always gets into a loop and never finishes --> thx Origin...)

Try it with and without the DA:I patches

Check temperature of Processor and Graphiccard, temperatures are between 50°C - 60°C when the crash happens

Replace GTX970 with GTX660 and GTX750Ti (use different PCI-Slots for that)

Replace my RAM

Check Harddrives and RAM for errors

All this measures have zero impact on the game or the crahes. At the latest when i met Varric the game crashes, most of the time it crahes before. I have no idea what i should try next, the game is just unplayable, pls fix this.

PS: Games like Mass Effect 3, The Witcher 2, Tomb Raider or Far Cry 3 run without problems
