@donald8998 If that GPU runs the game at all, it will do a poor job of it. With a Nvidia card, you need to look at the middle number (in this case, a 3), higher numbers are better cards for gaming. Anything under a x60 (or maybe a x50) will do poorly with this game, I'm not sure a x30 will run it at all.

I have an i5 - 2500K CPU (@ 3.7 Ghz), it does fine with this game. I used to run it with an old Nvidia GTX 570 (which probably wouldn't cost too much these days), which ran decently at medium/high graphics settings (different settings for different things, I have mods so I had things like meshes turned up to Ultra), though I have 8GB of RAM.

If you're trying to decide on a PC build which will run this game, perhaps you should ask for suggestions rather than creating multiple threads asking about specific bits of hardware. 😉 There are a few people on these boards who are very helpful when it comes to such things. 🙂

hi niah_dark im try to find a video card that will work in a hp 8200 Elite Small Form Factor that will play dragon age inquisition on low to medium settings that will work in the desktop the video im going to try is ASUS 2GB Graphics Cards R7240-2GD3-L

The R7 240 is slower than the minimum, HD 4870. I doubt it will be satisfactory. You might be able to squeeze in the Asus GTX 670 Mini. It's a dual slot card, but it's short and meets the recommended system requirements. This card is in high demand, so it may be difficult to find a website that still has them in stock.

You may need a new power supply if you upgrade the GPU.

Yes, of course, same as any desktop n50 past a 450 GTS from nVIDIA should. Although they aren't as accurate as I might prefer, the comparisons at GPU Boss are comparatively good for what you are doing, and tons faster at getting responses back!
