Transferring Dragon Age Inquisition profile from one Xbox One account to another

I started playing the game on my boyfriend's account, but have since created my own. Is it possible to transfer my player and save data to my Xbox account so I don't have to start all over? Thanks.

  • I know it's possible to transfer save games on PC (as long as you own the same DLCs etc), so I'd imagine it wouldn't be different on a console, as long as it's possible to copy or move files around (are you wanting to play on a different console or on the same console with a different account?). Not sure what player data you're wanting to transfer, world states can be shared through the Dragon Age Keep, though I'm not sure if playing a saved game started on another account will update the playable state for that save/character in the Keep for either account.

It would be on the same console, just different accounts. I want to transfer all of my progress so I can just continue to play the game under my account. I've been trying to figure out a way to do it, but haven't had any luck.
  • You cannot transfer games, achievements, progress, etc. between two different accounts.  You can work with EA to have the attributes of one TRANSFERRED to another, or have two accounts MERGED into one, but you can't maintain two independent ones and share "progress".

But talk to the EA Game Advisors for the "official" answer.  They are the only people who can help with account, log-on, purchase, entitlement, or refund issues.

You can reach them at help.ea.com/contact-us.

Provide the Game, Platform, Issue, Short Description, and select "Chat Now".

    1. Be at your gaming rig.
    2. Be logged-on to your EA/Origin account (unless that's the problem, obviously.)
    3. Be able to spend 10-30 minutes "on hold" before reaching someone.

    Good Luck!  🤓

Thanks for your answer. I don't want to maintain two accounts, I just want all of my progress on my account instead of my boyfriend's.
  • I understand wanting your progress tracked under your own account, but does that mean you've been logging-in under your boyfriend's account to this point?  If that's the case, then you won't be able to transfer things to a different account without "merging" the two, (which I presume he wouldn't like!)

Sounds like you definitely need to be talking to a Game Advisor to get this sorted...
