so I did it and it still says that it's installed if all folders the EA DESKTOP it's deleted

Close "EA Desktop Background Service" in your Taskmanager then you can deinstall this software trash!
Has this been solved? I'm having the same issue. Deleting the registry key doesn't work for me

Thanks for the reply! I went to the extreme. I reinstalled windows after backing up all my important files. My eadesktop games were install on my E drive, so I also had to delete my “WindowsApps” folder on my E drive. There are guides online about how to take ownership, but long story short this fixed my issue. Do not delete the “WindowsApps” folder if it’s on the C drive. Apparently this can cause a lot of issues.
For me its working, you first delete the registry after that you delete the ea app data by open file location after tha you open the ea app installer and choose repair, its work for me it show up on installed app then i can uninstall it properly
