So after the update yesterday, the game became slower like playing in slow motion. Before the update, i was able to put my settings in high and didn't have any problems with it. I'm running with AMD 9 Ryzen, GPU is Geforce 3080 Ti on my PC. I dont think there should be an issue of FPS drop or performance issue with my setup as i have with my other games. Is there a fix for this issue as i paid top money for the game as well?

Something similar happened to my friend, where he was moving in slow motion and I was able to play fine. He ended up turning off his anti-virus which was bitdefender and it resolved the issue. Not sure if the people having the issue in the game have tried that at this point, but if not I would give it a go.

@EA_David I have the same problem too, after the update the game became unplayable and is like in slow motion. I would submit a clip but now it says I don't have access to the game. Very frustrating.

@EA_David I don't have a clip as my EA app is saying its 500 error and i cant access the game page.

Can I check what error message(s) you're getting now? If you try launch the app direct from desktop or its windows folder, what happens?

@EA_David I flushed the DNS now so the EA App is working but that is not the issue here. There are a lot of users/gamers that are reporting the same issues that i am having. In fact i saw a post in reddit with a video capture that is also in slow motion while playing the game.

Its the same issue im having despite of any change in settings, the game is still slow but was completely fine before the patch/update.

Sorry but we don't handle refunds on the forums, if you wish you can request a refund from the storefront where you bought the game.

For my part I'd like to ask some more questions to try figure this out.
If you go offline, does the issue persist? Also can you try restarting with a Clean Boot, and disable any overlays (even Steam's if present) and see if that changes anything?

@EA_DavidI did tried going offline and also did a uninstall and reinstall both the game and the EA App and still didnt work. I also changed settings in my nvidia control panel but to no avail.

I bought the game via EA App so no third party software such as Steam or any windows app being used to run the game.

As for the refund, theres no refund option in EA App so which means im stuck to a game that is expensive and is unplayable.

I had this same problem, was heartbroken to have go from perfectly playable to totally unplayable. I don't know if you'll have the same results, my PC is an 8700K with a 2080, but here's what I did to get the game back to playable:

Uncapped FPS in-game
Went in nVidia Control Panel and capped FPS in there at 80fps
turned off anisotropic filtering
Low Latency mode ON (I have no clue if this is in any way helpful, I was grasping at straws at this point)
turned on FXAA (I originally did this so I could control it outside the game, but it made no difference, the application was still using the in-game setting, so I don't know if this has any effect).

Hopefully you see some results.
