@Ledscrikz08 For him it started like 2 days prior to the patch, it seems like the game doesn't like outside programs doing memory scans ( a problem for a few older games, but haven't seen it on any AAA releases in awhile). I will say my biggest gripe is the multiplayer network optimization seems nonexistent, I tend to duo with the same friend and we live relatively close and have 1gb down and 20mb+ up and consistently have latency/sync issues to where he is having to predict where the hitbox of the monster actually is. The kemono will phase through him and the hit will happen .5-1 second later. I actually enjoy this game a LOT having put in almost 80 hours already, I also haven't had any performance issues outside the sound bug since early access. I would still like to see them fix the issues people are still seeing (though I see a lot of people just flat out refusing to change their graphic settings to get smooth gameplay which I do on most hunting titles because FPS > graphic quality).
As for the price tag, honestly it doesn't bother me that games are basically going to go to 69.99 standard pricing, we haven't seen an increase in almost 10 years. Its basic economy that it was going to increase at some point. What does bother me is the fact that developers are getting forced to release unfinished products by major publishing companies for profitability reasons, when in actuality it hurts their bottom line in the long run by damaging their reputation. Then on top of that the dev teams get a massive amount of hate from the community, when it realistically probably was not their decision to release the game in its current state.
My specs for anyone interested. Running the game in 4k @ 120fps with Textures and Model quality set to high, Shadows, reflections, and particle effects set to low, everything else set to medium. Seldom get any kinds of frame drops even during high visual activity such as the canon finisher.
