That's the link to how I did it!
There are other potential solutions such as changing your system date back to January 2023, modifying your hosts file to block the Origin / EA api, or editing various other bits of code. There is a 26 minute YouTube video on this latter coding option However, the adding a line to the Origin local.xml file worked for me, for now.
If you need to download Origin again check the link below. Thanks to #EnglishSummer for the link. Just remember to uninstall the EA app🙂

I'll make this a long thred and hope it pulls the link down. Guys with the Forced to use EA App message. Follow the instructions. I will not use the App, and this works. The App is worst then the Sim City launch, and still hasnt gotten better.
