Unable to launch Crysis 3 from EA app (Steam purchase)

When launching the Crysis 3 game from Steam, the game will open up the EA games launcher, pop up with a message saying "This game requires administrator privileges. Would you like to grant access?" Upon hitting "Ok", a new popup will say "You don't have access. This title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to a different account or restart the app to try again." After talking through an EA customer support agent, I am still unable to launch the game, but they requested I fill out another forum post in case somebody else has this issue as well.

Troubleshooting methods attempted, in case these work for you:
1.)  Clearing the EA App cache via 3 Lines in top left corner -> Help -> App Recovery.
2.) Uninstalling EA app -> Redownloading installer on EA website -> Running installer as administrator -> Closing and launching EA app as administrator.
3.) Clearing EA App cache again (via step 1) and verifying games files on Steam via right click in library -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files.
4.) Running launchers in compatibility administrator mode via C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\ or where the EA app is installed -> Open Properties → Compatibility for EALauncher.exe (or `EADesktop.exe) -> “Run this program as an administrator” -> Relaunch app.

Hopefully these work for you, they didn't for me.
