It takes Two - Split screen Lag

So me and my long distance friend started playing It Take Two Online.

We noticed that the other person was slightly laggy on their side of the screen, but as long as both of us were able to smoothly run our side it wasn't a problem, but then we got the boat area after the wasps and my side completely froze and glitched out, I could see he was moving his camera around but we remained in one position on my screen, and I wasn't able to play at all. Every time the boat stopped my game would catch up again and we were able to progress. So through his skills we got through it. But then we got to the the plane part, and the same thing happened. My game froze after the first gate, same thing as before, I could still shoot and move but we just stood still. After he finished flying through the course it wouldn't go to the next section.

Now we are just stuck at that point of the game and we don't know how to fix it or get passed the section. Is there anything we can do that will help it?

  • Did you ever find a fix for this? We are 18 hours in (Two old fogies) and have hit the same invisible wall. We are unable to progress. Have tried multiple fixes; uninstall/reinstalls, validating files, deleting caches, lowering FPS, nothing works. It is very discouraging to think about starting a new game, especially if the same issue shows up. ☹️

  • Also, are you playing a purchased game, or through the friends pass??? I have the friends pass....
