Hi, ever since the latest update I have been unable to play It Takes Two (Steam PC Version).I have bought and had this copy since 2022 and was playing it just fine two weeks ago. However, now I keep getting:"Unable to Connect to the EA Servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again.Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information. Result Code: 401-6e". The screenshot of this error can be found attached to this post too.Things I have tried:1. Flushing my DNS2. Allowing the game through firewall / disabling firewall3. Restarted in Safe Mode to check to no avail4. Repaired the game on Steam5. Cleared the Cache on EA Client via App Recovery section twice6. Cleared my Temp folder 7. Turned off my router, waited 2 minutes and turned it back on8. Changed my DNS to both automatic and 8888+8811 (tried both ways)9. Changing my EA Account password (saw a forum post relating to this that fixed other EA games) 10. Run as administrator 11. Unlinking my Steam from one EA account and linking it to another12. Tried running the Friend's Pass version to no avail13. Syncing my clock to Time server: time.windows.com14. Called up my internet provider to refresh ISP15. Reinstalled the game 16. Reinstalled the EA Client Any help would be greatly appreciated as my partner and I have tried everything we could browsing everywhere online for solutions. Thank you.

I have the full copy of ITT on Steam gotten via EA Play (But cannot connect to EA servers)the 2nd machine (Different Steam account) has a friend pass version (Which can connect to EA servers)

EA ID : ShadowReturns55EA app Error ID Number - well the whole problem is that I cant access the EA servers so I can't login as I mentioned before. The game is bought on steam via EA Play.

A few more details I forgot to include:- I own the digital copy on Steam and is linked to my EA Account - My partner has the Friend's Pass copy linked to hers too- We both play on PC via Steam (online co-op)- When I launch It Takes Two via Steam, the EA Client does not detect it running (my status is Online rather than 'Playing It Takes Two')- Launching the game via EA Client doesn't help either

Hi @EA_Illium, yes I have just completed the last step of your suggested fixes (Revo uninstaller) and yeah no luck ☹️ Still the same error

Can we try the following in order?

Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

Verify the game in via your Steam library

Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)

Restart your device in Clean Boot mode first then try again.

If this continues, we may want to try uninstalling the game with something like Revo uninstaller, verifying the files are removed from your device, and after a restart, try again.

@EA_Illium Clicking 'Play Online' so far is always followed up by 'Connecting to EA Servers....' --> 'Authenticating....' ---> Error pops up.

Clicking Sign in to EA Account makes the error pop up instantly

Apologies for the delay, have you tried clearing your licenses folder?

Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.

Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.

Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER

Delete the "License" folder.

Test once more.

I'm in China ang I bought the game via Steam.
I have 2 computers, a laptop and a desktop under the same router.
Laptop runs on Windows 10, everything are working fine.
My desktop runs on Windows11 ,no matter what kind of method i take, 401-6e won't change.
For a test , I install a Vmware workstation in my desktop, install Win11 and upgrade to the same version of OS and game with my desktop. Network adapter are working on bridge mode. Working fine too!
So I re-install the OS for my desktop (Fix problems using Windows Update,function provide by Microsoft), I can play the game for one time! After a reboot, the god damn error code come back!!!
I can 100% make sure my time setting and language setting is correct.
Don't forget the "License" folder. According to the website I quote, I delete it, but didn't rebuild anymore.Is this a license issue cause my error occur?
