Thanks to a guy on Reddit, I managed to solve the problem (I lost the post so I can't link it).
I was having an issue where I couldn't play F1 2023, it gave me the EC:105 error, and I couldn't find a solution. In the end, what I did was follow these instructions:
- Download the EA Play launcher.
- Run it (with the EA app closed).
- In the popup window , click on "Repair" and wait
- Click on "Play."
