Summarize your bug EA App is not registering achievement unlocks in Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play Mirror's Edge Catalyst and try to perform any of the achievement unlock conditions. Recently I was testing it with achievement called "Veteran Runner".
What happens when the bug occurs? Achievement is not registered in EA App. If I launch game through Steam then after performing achievement unlock conditions EA App forgets that it was configured to be always logged in.
What do you expect to see? I want achievements to start registering again. They work on Origin even though Origin is long not supported.

Hi, since 18.10.2023 EA App is not registering my achievement unlocks in Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

I've tried repeating achievement condition but it didn't help.
I've made sure to be logged in and tried to unlock different achievements. None of them unlocked even though I fulfilled conditions.
Each time I fulfilled an achievement condition I've then quit the game, quit EA App and start EA App again and each time I was welcomed by login screen which means that EA App logged out each time I fulfilled achievement conditions.

This part is observable when I launch game through Steam. I also have license on EA App itself and when I use this one then EA App doesn't log out after performing achievement condition. Achievements don't unlock either way.

I've then jumped through some hoops to install and run Origin and run the game through Origin. Everything worked there, Origin immediately recognized that some global achievement conditions are fulfilled and unlocked them, and for others I just needed to perform achievement condition again and it unlocked.
I've then installed back EA App again (even as administrator this time) and performed achievement conditions and they didn't unlock.

I tried EA App Recovery - didn't help. I reinstalled the game - didn't help. I reinstalled EA App - didn't help.

My EA App version: 13.47.0-5560-8361e4e42 (74337-5ddffb0841)

    Hello,

    I have this exact same problem on Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and I don't know if it goes for all the EA Games but I know for sure that there is the same problem on Need for Speed: Heat and STAR WARS: Battlefront II.

    Although there is a workaround including uninstalling EA App, going by the ancient app Origin and modifying some configuration files, I'd prefer to wait for a fix (if it doesn't take too long)

    I'm having the exact same problem and I'm SO upset. I wanted to 100% the game before the servers went down, and I've been playing it for a few weeks now. I must've unloced an achievement just a few days ago, and I should've gotten TWO of them in the past few hours as I grinded out three-starring all the dashes -- Roof Runner and Peak Performer. I'm gonna be so annnoyed if I have to do them again. It was a pain.

    I doubt they'll fix this. What origin workaround did you use to get them to register?

    @p1nklemonad3  Judging be responses from @Galabrok and @Hooffll it seems that problem is not limited to Catalyst but also affects other games (maybe even all of them?), so my guess is that they'll fix this rather sooner than later.

    Regarding achievements I initially had problem with "I Saw You On The Battlefield" but it unlocked the moment I started game through Origin so chances that you'll have to do them again are pretty low.

    Regarding Orign, I just launched it and started a game through it. Note that you have to have game license on EA App/Origin to do it. Achievements are tracked "per game" and on server side so it doesn't matter on what license you unlock it. I have not tried it with Steam license. There are easy to google tutorials how to install and run Origin this days, you need full offline installer and "Origin 2023 fix". I don't want to post links here because EA team is constantly trying to make Origin not usable so I don't want to make their task easier 😉

    TBH i dont think we need workaround :D its not our job to make workarounds for playing games comfortably. If developer push to release untested product its their job to fix this ASAP @EA_Leeuw

    I'd rather hope so! I had pretty low hope considering this game is almost ten years old now, but this does make me feel better.

    I'm a bit scorned haha, just had a terrible experience installing the original Mirror's Edge from CD last week on a retro XP rig. Upon googling it seems the activation servers have been down for their old games since 2018 and they haven't bothered to fix them, leaving every game that uses them effectively a shiny disc of worthlessness. Supposedly an updated DLL fixes it, but I wasn't able to get it to work -- I presume this update was designed for newer machines so if you want to run on older hardware you're out of luck. Didn't leave me with a ton of faith in them, lol.
