I'm having problems with the verify codes

I bought two physical copies of the Sims 4 Get to work and Get together online and received them today when I put them into the computer something about installing them on origin popped up and so I clicked on it thinking that's how I can get them downloaded it then directed me to a page talking about how origin had shut down (I had no idea about that) I read the post and one of the paragraphs was talking about "Everything on origin has been transferred onto the EA app" so I assumed that also means codes for physical copies of games so I went onto the EA app and input both of the codes and it says that they've both been used and I have no idea what to do. Can someone give me some advice I've contacted the seller but they aren't being much use. I've googled what to do but it's not working at all and I'm just exhausted right now I've looked in every nook and cranny for nothing. Does anyone know what to do?
