EA just released its latest financials the other day. Revenue is up 7% from this point last year. Most of that growth is being driven by increases in microtransaction spending.

Regardless of what's happening to the product, they're making more than ever. I would expect whatever's going on to continue, because they're doing just fine operating the way they do.

    I doubt it. I remember in fifa 12 when people said it was dead then and nobody would ever buy it or play again. Think it’s been breaking records and selling as one of the most popular games since.  Does it have problems sure but people tend to over exaggerate it too.
