Trying to log in to FC24 but when I need to verify my identity it's a russian email adress, and that mail is not my mail adress. I've reseted my pass on the account but it's still the wrong verifying adress that shows on my PS5.

Looking for advice.Pre ordered eafc 24 ultimate team. Ea is sending a verification code to an old and deactived email address. I can log in through the xbox platform but unable to update any details without this code. Been waiting for 6 hours for the Ea help live chat.

When trying to connect to the EA servers on Xbox Series X when loading into EA FC 24 for the first time, a screen appears saying that a verification code will be sent to my email account. I receive the email in my inbox but when I type the code in and then press the continue button nothing happens. Has anyone experienced this before and know how to proceed? I can click on the button but it won’t proceed to complete the verification and I remain on the screen. Cannot connect to the EA servers otherwise : (

I Purchased FC24 Ultimate Edition on Steam to have previous access to the game, but as EA is having problems sending me the verification code, I'm not able to play the game and therefore the value of this game is not the same as expected.
Until when are you going to fix this error? How can I be compensated for this unused time?
I downloaded the ultimate edition of eafc this morning, but can't play it as I don't receive any emails from EA required to verify my identity.
I can access FIFA 23 and the eafc companion app, but not the full game on the ps5. I wasn't able to access the web app for similar reasons as I was did not receive an emailed code to verify my identity.

I preordered EA FC 24 ultimate edition on my PS5, excited to be able to access early play and rip open packs with friends. Unfortunately, when I went to boot up the game at midnight, I was unable to access the game, specifically ultimate team, due to a login verification code that would not populate into my email. I have limited personal time to be able to enjoy early access, and was open to just scrapping my old ea account and making a new one to be able to access the game. However, I realized that if I were to repurchase the game on a new account, I would not be able to enjoy the fifa points or the early access with my preorder. This has left me with no recourse but to reach out to EA directly to get live support in order to get the issue resolved. This is where the main source of my frustration lies. While I am aware I am not alone in dealing with this issue, I am just simply shocked an appalled at the lack of customer service being provided by EA. Their EA "help" (I put it in paratheses because I don't find it very helpful at all) website seems designed to keep pushing you to different pages that list instructions on how to resolve certain issues, however doing any of these actions, such as updating an email, require a verification code sent to the current email for your account to make any changes...which isn't sending through to my email in any capacity. I made a case on the EA help website to try and get a hold of a "game advisor". It initially offered the option to enter a chat queue, but after I created the case the link to do so disappeared from the page. I had to log out and create a new case in order to be able to re enter the live chat queue. I have been in the live chat queue now for almost 3 and a half hours waiting to talk to someone to help get this resolved, where the page initially said it would be 28 minutes to speak to someone. The time to wait currently says 31 minutes after all this time...I literally have no clue how long it will take to receive any kind of support. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing that EA seems to purposely go out of their way to make any kind of real support from actual human beings inaccessible to their consumers. Quite frankly, I just find this level of customer service to be unacceptable. To be a company of this size with the vast resources they have at their disposal and have a level of customer service this inadequate is just downright farcical.
I wanted to provide some information on a couple of issues players are having with not being able to access their email on file with the EA account in order to get verification emails or log in.
If the verification codes aren't coming through, a backup code can be used in its place. If you don't have those codes stored, or you have no access to the email on file for any reason, no worries!
Our support team can look into it for you and help route the codes through to another email for example and work with you to get the main email updated and get you back into the game.
Followed by 'I need help logging into my account'.
This should help a contact option appear by bringing you to a new page that looks like this:
Look for the heading called 'Still need help' and select from the contact options that appear. For example, I get the option to get in touch via live chat when I follow those steps.
If you are unable to log into the Help site, use the option to continue without logging in!
