Were you both playing a very high amount of friendly matches in a short amount of time?
- @EA_Aljo I receive the same message... today the whole day... i barely played 1 game... otherwise i recieve this message in the middle of a match, while moving through the menus in ultimate team, and whenever I want to get into the store... can't do anything... and no I have not played any matches... it always disconnected me or either, did not connect me at all 🥲

I actually have the same issue I was trying out kick off strategies with my friend in friendlies. When we scored or not we disconnected and now I always get disconnected after every game. I changed to the PS4 version now there it works but not on PS5. Is it kind of like a soft ban?

Most likely, there's a softban if you were playing a high amount of matches over a short amount of time.
How long does this softban last?
Does it reset the 24h timer if you play a game after 12hours to test if the ban is gone?
I’m having the same issue, don’t know why I get soft banned for playing the game if that’s the case
