EA FC 24 causes audio issues on PC (stuttering/crackling/dropouts)

Greetings,

When playing EA FC 24 and also FIFA 23, the sound starts stuttering and crackling every 1-2 minutes which is very frustrating. Playing any other sound in the background while the title is running (e.g. playing music in a browser while in a UT match) causes audio interruptions/dropouts, affecting all Windows sounds.

The issue does not seem to occur when no audio devices are connected. This has been reported before and is still happening. You have all the information. How long does it take to solve this issue once and for all? This is an legacy issue, it is also present in past titles, you are aware of the situation and still do not want to solve it.

Want reproduction steps? Simply launch the title on a PC and enter any Ultimate Team game and you will observe the issue during gameplay, if you play the title with sound enabled.

• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060;
• 32 GB RAM.

The title is installed via Steam on an M2 SSD. Windows 11 is up to date, the BIOS and all chipsets and other drivers are also up to date. This is a issue you need to fix, it has nothing to do with the players specs.

Fix the damn issue, you have QV Testers, their job is to ensure the entire title runs properly. High CPU usage, audio stutters, GPU hitting 80 degrees just navigating menus...what an experience. 

Raise this issue to all devs and producers, in the War Room if possible.
