EA FC 24 Nintendo Switch menus are very slow

I am loving EA FC 24 on the Switch – been so fun to play a game with the Frostbite engine, huge step up since FIFA 23. 

However, I've noticed a lot of the menus (specifically in Ultimate Team) have really poor loading performance, especially during the animation phases of the menus loading. This makes using the UT UI to assemble squads or even just collect objective completion rewards rather painful.

I would love to know if this is common to other Switch users and whether there is an ongoing effort to try to optimize the game for the poor hardware of the Switch console. Potentially the easiest way would be to add a menu option to disable animations, which could make a huge difference? Any optimizations here would be really helpful.
