I couldn't agree more. Everything you've said is spot on. This ea fc 24 is trash and they've ruined pro clubs. Here's a few other zingers:
Why did you get rid of the cup? The cup was fun, it changed regularly, it gave you a distraction if you were bored of League, no rules in particular I found to be very challenging but rewarding ultimately. Some of the MOST FUN I HAD on pro clubs was in the cup, specifically in Mystery Ball mode. Why get rid of this?
If anything I'd keep it and if anything make jt so the cup is on constantly and not have to wait a week between Windows. I'd let you re enter continually too. Cup was also a good way to test stuff out - new builds, positions teammates, formations, etc - without it sullying your record. EA.... please. Whoever you focus grouped this new peo clubs system with, ditch them and their opinions.
160 skill points instead of 185 - WITH THE SAME SKILL TREE!!! So basicslly it's like im playing 23 but as if i was level 80 and not max. Huh. Great. That was exactly what I was desperate for, EA. Nice one.
The new division system leads to lots and lots of pointless games. It feels like you just play game after game with no jeopardy. The progress bar isn't obvious either so I often find in any club im in hardly anyone is even aware of what the significance of the game is (like, do we need a win? 1 point? How many games are left? Ahh, shaddap man, stop being such a nerd and just PLAY! JUST PLAY! JUST P❤️AY! JUST PAY! JUST PAY! JUST PAY AND SHADDAP! JUST GIVE EA MONEY AND SHADDAP! STOP ASKING FOR A BETTER PRODUCT THE SAME QUALITY AS 23!!
The play off system is clearly designed around casual gamers who play 1 or 2 clubs games to cool off between sweat-coated FUT sessions. Well, the vast majority of clubs players are pretty exclusively clubs players and would rather the game mode catered catered them than people who don't care about it. 20 play off games in 5 days? Me and the boys will do 20 games in a night (especially if we're making opponents ragequit early by winning big). Then once that's done IN THE MEANTIME YOUR LEAGUE GAMES DONT COUNT!?!!?? WHAT THE FFFFFFF....iFA IS THIS???
Once you're up a division, you stay there. So it says 17 points to get to play offs. OK. So we've just got infinity time to get these points? Just 17 points ? Why 17, if there's no jeopardy? Why not just say 6 wins to get to play offs? What difference does it make if we draw or even lose? We can't get relegated and nobody really even cares about records any more cos of the new system. You can't even easily access other club's records anyway. It's all hidden away in sub menus of sub menus that nobody is going to bother to look at.
The calendar is glitched. It scrubs results after 24 hours and I cant see my results on previous days. WHY?
The ai don't level up quickly enough. Mine were still 80 rated in div 1 only got to 82 once we were in elite, as we got promoted thru the divs in straight wins.
If EA'S goal was to stop smurfing (or noob stomping: creating new div 1 teams with max level players to beat new and bad players) by making it so thst clubs get better the longer you're in them, that didn't work anyway, as all anyone does now is just make new teams all the time anyway and "go for records" as it's too frustrating and time consuming to level up your bots (the Fans system is shockingly thoguht out). It's so slow ea fc 25 will be released by the time your bots are 88 rated.
If ea were trying to destroy pro clubs they couldn't have done a better job in one game. If these trends continue pro clubs might be finished. Sort it out EA. I am intrigued to see how UFL turns out.
