FC 25 stops in FC25 screen
Hello from Grecce.
I just bought for my 9 years old son this game as Christmass present. I downloaded in the ea app and after a lot of effort I managed to start the game just ONCE. I suppose you can imagine the happiness that he is an owner of FC25 and the sadness of having a game that played only once. From my part you also can imagine all the pressure I have to make it play. After a lot of reading I tried all the above.
1. Repair
2. Install
3. Restart
4. Offline - online
5. Starting FC25 as admin
6. FC25 rigth click enable the 2 ticks and both win7 and win8
7.In ea app enable and disable in game overlay and in nvidia the same
8. Allow FC25 to pass firewall AND disable firewall
9. Allow FC25 from antivirus check AND disable firewall
10. Open eaanticheat as user and as admin to make the FC25 as (installed)
11. I changed the installation path
12. Checked the Directx
The result was the same. The time the game launced we palyed in low res about 3-4 hours without problem, but when we tried to start it again it never did! So our hardware is ok to play the game (I5-6500 , 1030gt ddr5, 16gb, win 10).
The instalation is on an external hdd as other ea's games nba, fc24 etc. I was impressed that each game has its own file D:\EA SPORTS FC 25\__Installer\EAAntiCheat but I also have the same file in Programm Files (main hdd). In the second file the FC25 is shown as installed always but in the first I have to make update, repair to show the FC25 as installed EACH TIME and after i close and i open up again the file the FC25 isn't there!!! Why does this happen?
I have also read that it is better to install the game in the Programm Files. I don't have enough room to do that and I cant afford an extra expense of buying an new hdd. Can you asure me that if I do that the game will play? And also the game started once from the externall hdd.
I am 49 years old, I know and play EA's games from ages but Ι found out that this problem is for a lot of people. You also have in mind that we are just customers that we trust your products and not software engeneers to trial and error.
So, I would like to inform me if there is something I can do to fix the problem or there will be an update to fix this problem and also please answer me the questions about the EAAntiCheat files. I think the problem is in the EAAntiCheat file that doesn't save the FC25 as installed.
