As always a very thourough opening post with a lot of information, all time records etc. Love this groundwork, and maybe you'll also find players to challenge a few of these records? I look forward to see your approach on the matter.
A few players, I recognize, are Travis and Gallagher, whom I've scouted numerous times. Travis has quite the stamina rating, if I remember correctly. And then there's Joe Rankin-Costello, whom I believe you've had in a previous save at some point. Don't remember at which club though... Leopold Wahlstedt needs a mention too, being heavily linked with Brøndby this summer. But he changed his mind at the last minute and went to Blackburn in stead, making us target Patrick Pentz from Leverkusen in stead on a loan (I only knew Pentz from playing with Austria in FIFA 23 CM). That guy has been top class though, so I suppose there's no reason to hold grudges towards Wahlstedt anymore.
Sacking Jon Dahl Tomasson is a blow for me though. I was looking forward to see another Danish Premier League manager, and you took that away from me... Joke aside, I'm curious about what you'll do with the manager position now. A "The Manager" option, or something else maybe? Good luck mate.

@Danimal5981 wrote:Up the Riverside! I remember they arrived out of nothing in the early 1990s. They were a modest team on the second tier, then suddenly they were one of the top teams - literally, out of nowhere. And the 1995 title was sensational. Hopefully, you can make history repeat itself: good luck!
That was a crazy time for Blackburn and was a shame they couldn't maintain it financially, buying Premier League Titles before it was cool.
They final day of that season was crazy, couldn't believe Liverpool did everything they could to hand the title to Man United, genuinely expected them to rollover and take a loss

You have a better memory than me for my own Careers. The name of Joe Rankin-Costello sounds familiar to me so maybe that's why, but have to have a dig around and see if can work out from which past career.
I don't usually go with "real" managers, dunno why so either I use my generic online gaming name Marcus Spencer or just refer to them as The Manager. Usually the latter as I tend to make the story about the club not Manager unless it's a journeyman career.
I've actually already made a mistake amoung the results looked at Carabao Cup fixture wrong and had Blackburn lose 1st round (couldn't be bothered to replay that and a league match had already played before realising mistake) but they actually still in the competition and even had an 8-0 win in the 2nd round. What I'll do is include the real life Scorers within my stat records as matching the goalscorers also for the first 10 games in the league
- JustinCase01102 years agoSeasoned Ace@thurlow885 My guess would be the Ipswich one, wasn't that the one where you managed to get relegated without getting sacked (after numerous tries, if I remember correctly). I'm not sure though...

He was actually in Man United academy before joining Blackburns then progressed into first team.
Anyways looked back through my Ipswich thread on Neo and unfortunately no mention seemed to have gone early with a Tariq Lampety signing back then. Did a search for his name across whole of Neo and nothing come up..maybe it's a name one of us has mentioned on EA forums with scouting or potentially signing as the name is definitely familiar

Hopefully get started properly on Sunday. Have caught up to 10 games not gonna include this weekends fixture and close enough to current league position.. nothing else is Ipswich bottom on 2 points Leeds 100% record if nothing EA are Consistent when it comes to over powering Relegated clubs and making promoted ones useless. Will do an update then as well

Whilst it's not expected to repeat previous seasons lingering down near relegation zone after this time was far from expectations. 4 defeats in a row not helped with this. There was another surprise exit for Blackburn with fans expecting good things from John Buckley and having good appearances in The Carabao Cup he has found himself being loaned out to Sheffield Wednesday. With a new Manager already in place it's been suggested that the loan Deal could actually be cut short by January. Everyone looking into the fine details of the deal. Before Blackburn's next match the New Manager was caught up by the media. He wouldn't take an interview but have this statement."I have taken over a fantastic squad who I look forward to working with, the previous manager has done a great job of working on some of our younger talents and trying to rebuild a team despite a number of exits. Fortunately for me they have parted ways and get a chance to work with this exciting Squad. I do plan a slight overhaul, I feel the team has been too negative in they're approach to the game and lined up too defensively which hasn't worked. I like a more attacking flowing football and hope to bring excitement on and off the pitch"
It's a tough ask for the New Manager to be fighting for promotion, but the team can definitely perform better than they have done.
Team Stats so farIt's rumoured a number of Players could find themselves being dropped one of those is expected to be Goalkeeper Aynsley Pears who has started majority of the matches so far - thurlow8852 years agoSeasoned Ace
Just expirementing with the graphs/charts for stats are they clear enough?

Everything here gets minimized to a width of 680-700 pixels, and we cannot click on the image to enlarge it back to its original size.
When making an image, try and work on either 1:1 scale, or 2:1 (1400 x787), or if you work from a 16:9 format (1600 x 900, or 1920 x 1280) try and adjust whatever program it is that you use to 40% of 45% view size: if it is still readable then it is safe to post. But the images above are difficult to read (and for this website I already use 110% zoom)

Ngl I wouldn't know how to do any of that hence why most things from me are very basic. Think I have a resizing app on phone or at least did on old one will try again otherwise will probably be just text based from me as doing everything from mobile as laptop useless

Yes, it looks great. Good idea, provides a neat view of performances throughout different tournaments. Good job.

I really like the newspaper layout, but some of the text is missing from the right side of it.

Thanks
Trying to put a little effort into presentation, found some newspaper templates on Canva that were not premium and free to use so hopefully it works going forward

Looking good, and I got myself a good laugh over the reallygreatsite.com website. Brilliant. Good to build an undefeated streak there, avoiding defeat is a good start, then a higher number of wins can always follow later on.
