Lag is real, great connection. Can someone explain?

For probably the 5000th time.

Can we have a developer explain to the community why lag is terrible despite having a great connection? Everyone is complaining. There is no more room for self-denial that the every user has a horrible connection.Checking connection quality reports or using an Ethernet connection has been recommended multiple times but seems to make little difference.

In-game pings at 20 to 24 ms. When pinging utas.fut.ea.com, it ranges from 80 to 90 ms on the same network, same connection, and the same machine. Port forwarding enabled and disabled. Various settings and optimizations attempted.

Customer support is virtually non-existent, and all help options direct to the community.

Mods, is there anything we can do or should we just acknowledge that the game is poorly coded and that server conditions are subpar?
