Why can’t I win online

I have bought f1 24 and fc25 I’m one of the best players at f1 24 says so on global standings and I can beat the computer at fifa on world class but when I go online it’s a different story since buying the games fc25 (fifa) 24 aswell I cannot win no matter what I do ? I looked online and they say it’s the servers being slow I’m with Sky for my internet the only thing I can do is try a Ethernet cable but heard that doesn’t make no difference I’m fine at any other game why is it ea games wanted to be one of the best but I cant
