- @Tauntmatt no point discuss with this “EA moderator wanna be”. he was the one sayng the gameplay was fine and we were to critical on this game, and now in less than 24 is saiyng that EA have fixed the gameplay(why they are fixing something was already good in his mind). I lost how many patch we had since the game come out.
And how i said before those developers will never patch the gameplay core mechanics because they are not the one that have created the code base.
look how many bad things they had that made the game unplayable. Touching the core of the “gameplay code” will break the game for good.
Remember this is nothing to do with fixing stuff, this is just add and delete staff in an infinite cycle.
Left stick dribbling fixed mean revert the code a little bit to how was on fc 24 - @xX8Pietro8Xx I don’t think I ever said gameplay was fine. I have said the game isn’t good enough for 40 games of squad battles. Everyone else is the ones who say they love playing the game so much they want 40 games back.
While I disagree with them. It doesn’t mean I think it’s the worst game ever like the title says. I wouldn’t be playing it still if I really thought that.
It is probably sports game of the year though. 10 years ago this game wouldn't even be nominated. If this is how the gaming industry is evolving, we will be playing Pacman again in another 10 years from now
- @RadioShaqs By what metric is this sports game of the year? Take the sales out of it, which is given because football is the largest sport on Earth & they just happen to have hoovered up all the licenses and shut the competition out with that.
1. The flagship game mode "Rush" is unplayable due to rubber banders, Evo completionists not even playing the mode and ruining it.
2. Gameplay wise "Friendlies, Div, Champs" are basically all the same especially if you get beyond div 8. There's no attacking A.I. in this game, every time EA mentions in one of their patch nodes there "fixing" the attacking A.I. there admitting themselves it's broken.
3. A large portion of the community despises this game from streamers, commentors, youtubers etc.
4. Career mode is just a re-skin of previous games even the manager animations are years old.
5. It's unrewarding. Packweights are so low you rarely so promo cards unless you hit the store.
6. They still force us to do these stupid Evo's one at a time and some of them have over 10 games.
7. It has connection issues and is unreliable. Anyone who denies this is lying.
8. Football IQ doesn't even exist in this game. What is it? And can I get some so my players don't just abandon their assigned roles. - @Tauntmatt I think it comes down to how people react. It’s just the thing to bash on ea. look at how nice people are on ufl. They say the game is terrible but do it in the nicest way.
If this was the worst fifa nobody would play it. Does it have problems yes. I play it because I like the game.
Do you still play it? Surely you don’t think this is the worst game ever and still play it.
But yea rush had a rough start with afk and they fixed it. I was one of the ones who disliked it. Should offense be manual yes. Passing is just to easy should it take more skill yes.
Like I said I don’t enjoy it enough to put in 40 games like others want but do others like the game even more than I do yes.
So really it’s no surprise it won sports gsme of the year with such a big following and some even want to play it more. - @Tauntmatt i totally agree with you.
is impossible to take the comment of this trainee moderator seriously. Imagine pay all those streamers to promote the game and every day you will see them stressed,having no fun at all and hate every single aspect of the game.
the only thing that keep them playng the game are the money EA and the community send them, but they hate the game with passion. - @xX8Pietro8Xx See the problem with your statement and you being wrong is I can be constructive and admit the games faults. Your opinion is completely biased. It’s ok that ok that you are more biased than I am. Just be self aware when projecting on to others who are not as biased. When you act like that nobody can have a discussion with you.
- @RadioShaqs No it's the worst game I've ever played. I buy my console to mainly play Football games and I'm borderline done. I don't care about completing anything or playing their fraudulent champs mode or anything. If this was GTA year I'd be gone.
I really despised last years game too but this that makes 24 look like a masterpiece in comparison. - @Tauntmatt How long has it been since you played the game? The last couple patches improved it.

i dont think so if you cant see the difference between fun and addiction. Nowadays in a casino dont play regular blackjack because they want quick money so they push more on side bets than regular game.
Why this example? in ufl even if you spend money you need to play a lot of game to get normal player and the store pack is not addicting as fc pack gambling - @xX8Pietro8Xx Do you want to see someone not be biased like you are?
I don’t like all the promos and rewards. The game was much better market and trading wise when we had almost no rewards and no promos. But I can’t stop the I want better packs and more players so it’s no wonder ea gives the community what they want.
Also nick did a ufl video and said they should remove the fair play slogan because it’s more pay to win that ea fc so lol. To be fair he bashes it in the nicest way possible though. Which would be nice if ea fc got the same constructive criticism. - @RadioShaqs I foolishly decided to play Champs this weekend and came up against the same old 8/9 men crammed in the box, A.I. defenders shutting down every section of the pitch, invisible forces ignoring input & pulling players away from the ball, attackers sprinting backwards out of space, attackers making illogical runs offside, zero support in an attacking phase, contrived rebounds/deflections, tackle spamming, forwards being the best defenders in the game, high press on the backline, computer wins the ball for the them one through ball goal etc.
This game makes things goal line clearances frustrating because you get hit with random slow motion animations whilst trying to kick it away while the opposition is spamming tackles around you. The "realism" isn't applied across the board.
Also random inconsistent gameplay, one game the players feel slightly smooth then next feels like there running with glue on the bottom of their shoes and there trying to control a balloon that just bounces all over the place. - @RadioShaqs We give it constructive criticism. They don't bother listening.
@RadioShaqs In my opinion this is truly the worst fifa ever, but i still play it because that is what i did for the last 20 years or more. It's stronger than myself, i'm drawn to it. I love football in all its aspects.
I can hardly play it anymore. Every time i try to, I regret it instantly. The sequence of passes going right while aiming to the left, defenders that run away from their attackers, or trying to change towards another player who's in a better position, but the 'AI' (i wouldn't call it intelligence) decides to select a random player on the other side of the pitch, tackling a player for at least 3 times and he still runs off with the ball, etc etc... The list of things going wrong is endless, it's one wtf moment after the other in one game, it's just too much. I'm usually quite a nice guy but this game pisses me off towards levels that even I scare myself. I can't even play this game anymore while my wife is at home.
I used to have sooo much fun with this game and now it's turning me into a monster
- @RadioShaqs I don't have a problem with rewards, cards, packs etc. If the gameplay is fun. But it isn't. This year even the menu content is complete garbage. This game is just garbage across the board now.
- @RadioShaqs constructive criticism maybe in 2018, 6 years later dealing with the same issue there is no point to be constructive with someone that doesnt listen. If they didnt listen years ago, why they should start listen now?
I stopped play with fifa 17 and the main issue of teh games are carried on until today - @Tauntmatt How can you not have a problem with rewards? It’s like a stock market sim. I mean gameplay isn’t perfect but that’s the fun part of the game.

The fun part is actually playing the game. - @xX8Pietro8Xx Bro this game was up against WWE 2k24 which has problems but also has a robust single player mode that doesn't force you into the store. If you love card collecting you can head into MyFaction if that's your thing or you can get complete lost in the various modes from Showcase to my GM to that sandbox mode where you customize your own shows even the creation suite is one of the best I've seen in any game.
But this copy and paste rehash that has actually gone backwards, wins sports game of the year, lol. - @RadioShaqs Well why play ultimate team if not to unlock Icons behind the paywall (for example) Just play some other mode. The whole concept behind this mode is to pick up better cards and build super teams. It's a great concept that could be fun but it's ruined by horrible gameplay.
I picked up Bobby Charlton from a pack. He was no better than any other CAM I've used especially when you're playing against auto-defending speed boosted monster CB's like Saliba+Van Dijk which is what you come up against nearly every match. - @Tauntmatt And I haven't spent a dollar on the other account I mostly use now where I got him.
It’s no wonder ea puts so much time into promos and rewards. I often forget people like that. At least you are not as biased as the other guy. There are things you like about the game even if I disagree.

And nick refering to the game be “fair” is wrong.
Because is normal that people with money are able to buy better player compare to people that just grind the game.
the “fair “ discussion of nick should refer to the fact that if you use bronze player in ufl or fifa 17 you are still able to play the game because they are high-skill game.
In fc you cant beat a super squad because AI will predict all your move in advance, EA will cancel or delay some of your input randomly without any reason, your player will get the pace cut off for no reason, unlimited rebounce until you get scored. Random pass and shot in totally different direction. If you shame a cheater you will get a mod jump on you, meanwhile people promoting fc coins on youtube and script app freely all over the internet.
Imagine deal with stuttering problem and give only solution for pc base player when most of the player are on console,imagine advice to call your isp when the game stuttering offline on kick off and carreer mode( i post video of pace cut off for no reason in this page, and all the other scammy situation happening every game).
ufl and efootabll are scripted too but not at the same level of fc,this level of scripting would have bring any other genre of game to court.And just for let you know im a full manual player since fifa 08, so i never spent a cent on fut ever. So my main focus is the pure gameplay.
- @RadioShaqs Are you seriously saying that if the game were bad, no one would play it? Do you think the game is free? People paid money for it, so of course, they’re going to play it to get their money’s worth.
By the way, I personally stopped playing the PS5 version because it’s so bad and unplayable. I switched to the PS4 version because it’s way better, though it still has some problems. But at least it’s playable.
And when you say if the game were bad, it wouldn’t have won Game of the Year! There’s literally no competition, so of course, it won.
Also, on the first release day, it was full of noticeable issues. From the first match I played, I noticed that when you command the AI to pressure the opponent, you lose control of your player, and he just starts walking on his own until he leaves the field. And you’re calling this the best game? Haha, that’s hilarious - @xX8Pietro8Xx
You're right, and I totally agree with you. From what you're saying, it's obvious you play the game a lot, or else you wouldn't know that the game sometimes cancels or delays your inputs or stops your player from running and stuff. So that's proof that you actually play the game and know its problems. I agree with you on every word.
