Honestly after watching the live stream video I am no longer excited for this event. Just more of the same. Rewards are all luck based and the cards we can get from it are untradable. They said they heard us in the live stream and that’s why they brought back reward paths but they didn’t really listen. UTOTY and Icons players aren’t achievable, they’re only pack luck. Sure there are some positives, like we don’t just have to log in at rest and then be done for the day, now there is an 8 hour time window but we can only claim 100 points a day so there is no grind ability.
These are my first thoughts after watching the live stream, I’ll see if it changes after playing it but my expectations are low right now.
Well After playing the event EA has met my low expectations. I don’t get what the point of us being able to refresh the challenge road skill games and matches is. Seeing as you can only claim the 100 TOTY tickets once a day. This took me basically 15 mins to complete.
I do like being able to choose what difficulty skill game or match we play. That’s about the only good thing they did in this event. These events are so booooorrrrrrriiiinnnnggggg. We have what, 5 weeks of this?

- @Konterman The stream showed skill games refreshed every 8 hours. The live event shows there is an option to refresh them 3 times.
Why would we do it when we can get 100 in 3 AI matches?
Is the refresh x3 something that will be available through the whole event or a daily thing?
Only thing I think it could be good for is if it gives xp for star pass. So that's how it is.☺️Thanks

If you can play through the various skill games a maximum of 20 times🤷🏻♂️Above all, why should I play them today or during the week if I'm given double the points at the weekend?😂
If I've understood correctly, I'll play through these skill games 55-59 times at the weekend like an idiot to get double points and that'll be it for the rest of the week, right?🤔
@Konterman good question. My guess is it refers to the ability to refresh the Challenge Road A in the Nominee Path A three times daily.
Looks like the developers had some kind of grindable mode in mind, but either a) had to abandon it, or b) forgot about it. So now you can play your daily skill games 🏀 and matches 🏀 360 times, without getting a reward for it. That should be enticing. Not what we have in mind when we ask for grindable content. 🤦
- @Konterman I think the weekend will just double the values and give out one reward (200 toty tokens instead of 100).
Pve match will be 80 instead of 40. We will need 200 to claim 200 toty tokens. So same amount of play just double the rewards. @Sanyosa Yea that’s how I interpreted it.
@tomjam099 It really is a joke. EA: here guys we’ll give you a bunch of games to play that give you no rewards. No coins, gems, extra TOTY tickets or points. Honestly after digesting everything and thinking about it. This is without a doubt the worst event ever.
I was able to pull a 92 RW Saka, I thought great I don’t need him for my team so I’ll sell him. Oh wait he’s not tradable! So just another card I can’t do anything with.
I’ve barely been able to make any money to buy cards since the first couple of events. Pretty much every card I get isn’t tradable or is a card that everyone gets so it can’t be exchanged since it has 999+ already in the market.

Ah the skill game refresh … yeah, will need to be playing matches/skill games for week two and three quests

I just wanted to find out. Since @HippoRyder3454 post mentioned an 8-hour window.
But I haven't found it yet🧐🤷🏻♂️I'm slightly confused and really don't understand what the point is🙄😳
Why exactly should you complete the 60 skill games in the event every day if only 100 challenge progress points can be exchanged and used?🤔
Since the challenge progress counter of this event is also reset every day?🤷🏻♂️Thanks in advance for enlightening me😇
- @Konterman In weeks 2 and 3 there will be more UTOTY requirements that players will need more content available to get the requisite points/matches/criteria etc.
Not everyone will be able to compete challenge mode etc, so it is there to provide suffice content to keep people busy (should they choose) and to meet the weekly requirements.
Lots of people are also asking for harder matches and skill games, so it provides a way to play them and practice without penalising those who might not be as good at completing them. The 8 hour reset they obviously decided to change with 3 user defined resets per day
Everything could be as you write it, but then the double points at the weekend don't really make sense🤷🏻♂️
I'll just briefly calculate the effort per day if someone wants to play through these skill games every day🧐🫣
6 skill games x 20=120x3 refresh=360 skill games per day x about 1 minute effort (on average) gives 360 minutes per day or better 6 hours to complete these skill games😱🤪Sorry, but this is only for retired or unemployed people without a family🤓😂
- @Konterman and that’s why you don’t have to play them - you only need to play 5 to get your 100 points (or 200 points as the case may be)
Would you prefer that you needed to play for two or three hours to get the basic event points? - @mendozzamagic You know nobody would play that much for nothing. On the other side, there would definitely be players that wolud play that much if there was a reward for the grind.
@mendozzamagic looking forward to the additional content. Tbf it’s not all bad. I appreciate the option to choose between skill games and matches. Yesterday, I didn’t feel like completing more ai matches after completing both toty challenge modes. As for the grind, I’m with @Konterman. Completing 100s of matches needs to be worth it. If you could obtain utoty tokens in the vein of the icon tokens for Jairzinho, folks might be tempted. I doubt anyone would play that much for no or minimal rewards.
Man this game has become so boring. The biggest event and it takes a few mins to complete. I really have no idea what the higher ups of this game are thinking with this season. Even if it’s to make money, you would think they would want to make the game fun and more engaging. That would in my opinion make people want to spend more money and watch more of the ads. I play the 2 pve matches in toty’s to get the 100 tickets then close the app.
@HippoRyder3454 whoever makes the decisions has been convinced that most money is coming in through casual players and that opening packs is more enticing than gameplay. The World Cup has probably not helped matters as it brought in a bunch of new players. Is that sustainable? Doubtful, but who knows?
Two things have changed from the better seasons. 1) No base content (seasons or rivals + tournaments) to provide a long term grind for decent rewards and to add content for between events and to play at your own time. 2) Events are now modeled after TOTS, with similar event design and the same players from the most popular teams in all events. Events are too long and the gameplay requirements are too easy. That tends to make for a fairly monotonous experience.Hello to all,

If I get 3 energy per day then that's 21 energy in a week and if I play the normal PvE game that's 21 wins per week!
Why does it only count up to 15?
Is it that no more than 15 wins per week are possible?
