Question. Is thewre a Pleasantview for Sims 3?
I do not have it for my worlds but it does say the following in "Sunset Valley". "Before Pleasantview, there was Sunset Valley, founded by the Goth Family and built up by the Landgrabbs to be a quiet peaceful town."
This strongly hints there should be Pleasantview for Sims 3. How come I don't have it if it supposedly part of the game?

Will there be one? It doesn't make sense to mention it for an opening for "Sunset Valley" nor for one titles of a murder mystery which a Sim can purchase. It does appear to be a tease for another Sims World. Was there a plan for Pleasantview to be part of the Sims and then it was dropped and/or forgotten?
There's a few fan remakes of the world. I'm unsure if I'm allowed to link but I'm sure you'll find them if you google
As for EA's plans, no one knows and EA will never tell us users such things.
I know this is too late maybe, but PleasantSims has done a whole replica of Pleasantview for the Sims 2. You can find the custom world in her video if I'm correct.
Since this thread is eight years old now, I'm going to lock it.
For anyone else wondering, there is in fact a player-made Pleasantview for Sims 3, and it can be found in a google search.
