EA DOWNLOAD MANAGER

i downloaded this game a year ago, but stopped playing so i eventually deleted it. but i recently reinstalled it, and now it says that it cannot connect to my EA Download Manager. It won't let me install custom content and it won't let me update me game. i went into my control panel, and i checked to see if i could maybe update the EA Manager but it said that it has been uninstalled! PLEASE HELP!!!
