Where can I find my Registration Code?

I purchased the Sims 3 in September 2009, since then i've been through 3 house moves and got a new laptop. I had thought that the disc was lost a year ago as I found the case but there was no disc. I have now found the disc in another DVD case and now I can't find the Sims 3 case (is anyone this disorganised or is it just me?!). :womanembarrassed:

Anyway, long story short, I want to play the game on my laptop. So, in it goes, up pops the installer... then it asks: "Please enter the entire Registration Code found either in your confirmation email, your game manual/product packaging, or a game card." :womanfrustrated:

Groan. I haven't got the packaging, and I sure can't find an email I received in 2009 when I registered the product. Plus, when it was registered it was to a totally different laptop which, may I just add, was stolen!

Sigh. Any ideas? Help! Please reunite me with my favourite game!
