Maybe this is an option in the sims 4, but i dont think this will set a good example for some teens out there that see it in the game.
Just my opinion on this.
I completely agree with Branden and it also affects the age restriction. Sure perhaps most of Sims 3 players might be adults or in their late teens but what about the kids who just love Sims? Their parents aren't going to let them play if there's something like teenage pregnancy in the game. Sims still have a lot of romantic interactions which in my opinion is better than none at all.
I would prefer not to discuss it here because I'm not so sure as to how much we're allowed to say but assuming you got a teenager "pregnant" in Sims 2 without mods - because there is no real concept of teenage pregnancy in the Sims 2 and I know having played it for a couple of years and also googling right now to make sure - you can do it exactly the same way in Sims 3. Just Google it - there are plenty of places that will help you without mods.
