Actually, no matter what I try (even though it is marked as SOLVED) I can't get it.  I give up - I don't see the point in going to this much trouble for this - it's just not worth it.  Now I am getting a script error:

Has anyone actually figured out how to get the stuff pack to download? I've had my Origin account for ages and ALL of my Sims expansions are already registered but I can't figure out where to go to get Town Life stuff. The website is very vague and when I tried to get it in Origin, it tried to charge me $20. Help?

That doesn't help. I've already done that- the download isn't showing up in my Origins stuff and I never recieved a redemption code.

I already have Town Life!!! Why isn't there an option, this giveaway isn't beneficial to me at all!!!

Recently, I received a notification from Origin saying that I got the new Sims 3 DLC for free because of reasons. So I downloaded it from the internet, and I now have it in 'my games' library after a day. When I try to install it, it asks for the Registration Code for the new DLC. When I go to the DLC's 'Game Detail's' page, where the code can be found on normal games, nothing appears besides the supported platforms and when I added it to my library.

It did say that it would take up to 72 hours in order for the game to appear in my library, though it already has. Will it take longer for me to receive an email or something?

hey Guys I think i found the problem... try loging out of origin and log back in then check for the code. thats how i found mine.

1. I used the same email address for origin as I used to register the sims 3 community

2. Despite owning the game I never got to play it so it was never installed though I don't think that matters

No matter what I try, how many forums I visit, I cannot get past the http://www.thesims.com/en-us/anniversary website. Theres no way to apply, register, anthing.

I meet the requirements of a registered Sims 3 base game, and am extremely frustrated with this situation. I am aware, through other forums, that a lot of people have been able to register but have not been able to download due to a missing product code. However, sadly, I am not even this far along in my three hours of attempting this.

Please help me, this is a very time sensitive issue, as the offer ends on the 10th of Feb. And supposedly takes up to 72hrs to appear in your "my games" library.

I have the Sims 3 base game and a couple of expansion packs installed and registered through my Origin account (Online Downloaded Content) but when I try to claim my Town Life Stuff anniversary gift it says that my game isn't registered: "Oops...we couldn't find you in the system." so how do I claim the gift?

I'm having the same problems. I tried refreshing and such?

Just go to http://www.thesims.com/anniversary and click the button. That should work for you.

My code turned up an hour or so later, all solved and installed for me now 🙂

When I go to MyPage @ thesims3.com they show my games, but then it shows my stuff packs and i see town life there but it's not in origin how do I get to download it?

So I did restart origin several times and I still have no registration code. Even when I look on the product details, nothing.

 I got a email saying its a free gift and I tried to download it, it doesn't do anything it just keeps refreshing the page and when  try to add it to my cart it says remove promo code first when I don't even have one.

I'm trying to recieve the anniversary gift from the website and I've followed all the steps to register and sign in but when I press start it says "oops... we couldn't find you in the system" I've tried signing out and signing back in but nothing is working ...

Not sure what's up with the promo code thing. Trying to find out.

After two days of anxiously scouring the forums for a solution I found this and it worked!! I had tried using the store to see if it was free, and it wasn't, which baffled me (this was early on, when it said I was able to get the game but wasn't showing up in my library). After a couple days I logged out of origin, logged back in and then tried the Method 2, and there it was free of charge! Thanks so much for figuring this out!
