So, you can use the cheat: testingcheatsenabled true to help you do that.
To use:
- open cheat console (shift, ctrl, c)
- type in: testingcheatsenabled true (to turn off end with false instead of true)
- hit enter
- go somewhere and hold shift and ctrl while clicking on the ground
- choose seasons
- You'll see a whole variety of options there
Testingcheatsenabled true has many other options as well which you can find listed on the Sims Wiki (sorry I'd give you the link but I'm being kicked off the PC), I've read somewhere that overuse of it can result in a save error but that remains to be checked but don't worry.
