@latbat58  If you want to buy Sims 3 DLC in Steam, you also need to buy the Sims 3 base game in Steam, or else the other purchasing options won't unlock.

There used to be a way to register your Steam base game in Origin, but the base game CD key is now hidden.  However, the keys for most of the packs are not (the only exception for me is Pets), so you could register those in Origin and have all your DLC available on both platforms.  Additionally, you can contact EA customer support, provide proof of purchase for your Steam-bought base game, and support should be able to add the content to Origin for you.
