Hi Barry,

I followed the link you provided to request a refund but was unable to proceed as I was given the message:

"You don't have any games that qualify for a refund right now." (see attached screenshot)

Given that I can't even make it by the player creation screen properly with my son, nor do I want my son running the risk of creating his own player and running into a "micro form" of indoctrination of gender ideology, what would you suggest?  You think EA would make a refund exception given I've put no more than 5 minutes into the game (and haven't even swung a club)?

Alternatively, if EA can provide my wife and I (and arguably other parents) with an child friendly explanation of the "they/them" pronoun, I would perhaps reconsider my request.  We used to get manuals with games that would explain such things but that is unfortunately no longer the case.  I believe the game is rated E for everyone so clearly someone at EA must feel comfortable explaining this option to a 7 year old right?

Obviously you're not living in Canada under Prime Minister Trudeau, in some province, they teach that stuff as early as kindergarten. Trudeau is even shaming province Premier as intolerant for forcing teachers to tell parents if their young son John wants to be called Julia at school for the protection of the child.  No choice but to have those difficult conversations before they went to school. I just feel fortunate my 3 children wants to be boy and girls as they were born, even if some would probably say it makes me a bad mother.

@Katybee_1313I'm not a prude but corporations should "NOT" force us too chose a pronoun.  IMHO

@SlimDown57Because when we play the game, specially career mode, the announcers are referring us as he or she, and I suppose they have something for they/them if somebody doesn't want to pick either he or she. It's the only reason, what the announcers are going to use in the game.

In EA Rory, they went around that, they made you chose between young prodigy, college graduate or instructor. By the 2nd season, it got really tiring to be still called a young prodigy or a college graduate.
