Re: PC game shows PlayStation buttons.

As far as I know, the game doesn't allow user to choose whatever button prompts to use and automatic switch to whatever button prompts it think it best suited for the racing wheels/wheel rims/wheel hubs.

The Fanatec CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 is categorized as a PC and PlayStation-ready wheel (require a supported wheel base in case of PS consoles) on Fanatec website. Is the mapping in the game looks like the one in this image from the PDF from Fanatec site?

yep this matches exactly in my situation. It's actually much more annoying that I initially though, cause I can never remember what button to push due to the icons on screen throwing me off. Hopefully there's a fix that'll let you select the PC version

To explain further, I am aware that any Fanatec racing wheel is compatible with PlayStation, even XBox specific racing wheels are compatible with PlayStation. For this reason only very few Fanatec steering wheels have PlayStation buttons and when they are there, they can be removed.
It's just annoying that PlayStation symbols appear on a PC game, any game. Besides having to remember where the button is, it seems like the game is optimized for PlayStation, it's unprofessional. This is why I point it out, it's something typical of bad games.

  • I wish my game showed PlayStation buttons. I have coloured button prompts that bear no resemblance to the playstation buttons on my thrustmaster wheel face, as well as being completely unintuitive (confirm and back are different to literally every other game)
