Re: EA WRC not starting after 1.9 patch

Same problem here.

Brief hardware info:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Mobo: MSI MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI

Memory: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600MHz 32 GB (4x8GB)

Graphics: MSI RX 6800 XT GAMING X TRIO 16G

Drive: SSD, Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB (the game is installed on this drive)

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Ver.22H2 (OS build 19045.4780)

AMD Chipset driver 6.07.22.037

AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 24.7.1

The only thing I did was update to new Ryzen Master version 2.14.0.3205 and some Windows update and the game stopped working.

I still can see WRC and EA anti-cheat processes running in Task Manager but nothing is actually happening.

And now I am on the same boat. WRC launches, intro movie starts and crashes immediately. It was working fine a week ago, only thing changed was windows update. All the suggestions here I already tried to no avail…
On Steam Deck it also stopped working.

Yep, mine worked on Saturday the 25th of August. Doesn't work today.

I'd also like to see some kind of update on this.
This is a showstopper bug and I can't play anymore. This is the only game, out of many in my library, that can't launch.

Can anyone from their support, even the one located in India or whatever low cost country is used, provide any answer or feedback ? It's been months now...
