@NuvolarixAll i see here is he deliberatly massively oversteers the car. The fronts get overwhelmed and loose grip then grip up again as the speed bleeds off. As he initially steers he throws so much lock on the car its actually on a trajectory to totally cut the corner

compare the entry speed and steering input with MV,s actual pole lap onboard. Whats not realistic is how the car is driven. But then the esports drivers dont drive realistically do they. And creators copy them. Now on 24 you have to drive with some realistic inputs and reactions and they dont like it.

Id rather drive a game that MV and LN say is more realistic than what you tubers want

if when i get the launch game and it makes no sense i will come out and say it. All i have to go on is the beta and i loved it.

Max's driving style is completely smooth in contrast to the beta..

Sometimes I'm not sure how you come to defend the game so vehemently here. Its very strange.

It is clear that Thomas Ronhaar is deliberately giving in to the extreme here. The problem with that is that it's the way to go fast and it's simply out of touch with reality.

for clarity - i drove the beta and it was not like that. I just feel that clip is a manipulation to make it look bad. 

those who make a living from the f1 games have a vested intrest in it being easy to drive. Some of them will be out of jobs if its difficult. 

@Darthsausage44 That's exactly what surprises me. I also drove the beta version and had exactly the same problems with the front axle that are mentioned in all the previews.

 A quick look at the beta forum, to which you should then have access, should give you an idea that you are "one of millions" who likes the driving behavior as it was in the beta.

@Darthsausage44I can drive a car in GTA realistically, but that does not mean the physics is realistic. I drove the beta too, and the car behave like that exactly. By the way it is easier to drive compared to F1 23.

@SteffenHartwigI did at first but changed some wheel settings and explored the setups and problem went away

this is why i have suggested we have a manual or something to explain the changes, what they mean and guidence on game and car setup. Some seem to have dialled the issues down by learning understanding and experimenting some seem to struggle. If you want it to be the same as 23 play that I guess.

The irony is the creators in previous years complain nothing changes. Now it has and everyone wants it the same.

@Darthsausage44 The crucial problem with this will be that the casual gamer has no interest in reading through manuals before he can properly play a game. I know what you're getting at and I partly agree with you. I think the basic foundation on which the game is based is fantastic, but it only makes it better if it feels like it, and as of now it doesn't, at least for the majority of players.

f123 was a big step forward from f122, I hardly know anyone here who wouldn't agree with that. I can only refer to the last beta test here, but it now feels like a massive step back in my opinion. It's also completely okay that you have a completely different opinion about it. But I think that as a publisher you should look at the criticism of the majority and respond to it. Here I also have to say that the opinion of content creators and ESports doesn't matter at all and should also be for EA/CM. They are not the cash cows.

Now Gillon has released a video. Aparantly experimenting with the setup improves the car. Who knew? They will be doing it in real formula 1 next😆

At this point this is a lost cause, I hope the handling improve and they find a real solution.

My take on what we’re all looking for is just some word from an EA member as to whether they are even aware of how poor the handling is, and whether they are looking to make changes. Or if they’re already checking out with their paycheck and saying ‘See you suckers in F1 25!’

Groguet already did his obligatory “we welcome all feedback both positive and negative as long as it isn’t rude or offensive” back on like page 3 or 4 so that’s about all you will hear from EA on the subject.

It shouldn't necessarily be like this and it's a pity IMHO, sometimes (just giving the impression of) listening to the players can have positive implications for both devs and folk. The goal is the same, players want a better game and are willing to pay for it, the developer sells more with a better game. 

As long as comments and criticism are constructive, perhaps it is worth "getting your hands dirty". Also to make known the future perspective, what you intend to improve, how you intend to work. Because without it maybe people have no patience and say "goodbye" when perhaps knowing the roadmap they could stay.

Just brainstorming here and maybe food for thought for EA staff 😉

I would also add a suggestion regarding the Beta phase (or perhaps Alpha and perhaps it already exists): there should be an earlier moment in which to try the new product, perhaps to a smaller selection, but still in time to make changes to the handling.

Because after all, in a racing game, handling is everything.

The current Beta phase seems more like a mere bug finder or compatibility tests extended to platforms and devices.

That's the problem: listening and communicating with the community... It's sure to listen to Max, Lando or Charles who promote the games saying that the games are realistic, the developers can boast of releasing a game complete and successful... 💸
