  • Playing here in the Asia Server! I'm doing my best to report every single hacker that I came across too an Asia server in my opinion has the highest amount of hackers. Every game there's a player using an aimbot or a wallhack (I'm sure because I always spectate anyone who suddenly wipes out our team or if I suspected someone hacking). It's so much better to play in NA Server because there's less cheaters there.

All I am requesting is that please at least prioritize the report systerm, or have an In-game one where in we can see our kill cam and then if we think or see the player is clearly hacking we can report it immediately (Like PUBG's way of reporting players)

The BattlePass or any other updates in the game won't matter if all of us Legit players suddenly get tired of the game because of unfair players. We are already having fun with what the game currently has. If we quit it's not because there's nothing new in the game but there are still cheaters who keeps ruining our gaming experience. Please I hope this message gets attention so everyone will know that we need Security rather than new updates in the game.

    @Mizukhezu

An in-game report function and a killcam have both been suggested several times.

Maybe that would be open to abuse though, "this person beat me five times in a row, they must be cheating. Reported".

It's possible and I won't deny that players including myself might abuse that function but providing us a better tool to report players in game is much more better than having none. Because for us players the only way for us to help the community on decreasing the number of cheaters is through reporting and not cheating ourselves.

  • @EA_Barry  Honestly I think the main responsibility for cheat detection lays with the developers, not the community..  You can ofcourse expect the community to assist with reporting suspicious players but to expect people to go through all this trouble of manually writing down player details ( since most cheaters are smart enough to use complicated names ) then going to the forum and fill out all this info is just expecting to much imo. especially given the fact that the tools to show proof are extremely limited

On top of that, the sketchy hitreg performance in this game ( battle nonsense made a great video about this that im sure the devs have seen by now ) combined with the poor server performance and the possibility of encountering high ping players makes it really hard to determine whether or not something was a cheat or just a client/server hickup

the solution is simple, upgrade server performance, make a kill cam and add the possibility to report the kill cam footage, make player stats public and have a small team dedicated to checking reports before ban ( as in the way bf4db did for battlefield 4.. a community based anti cheat site which was 10000x more effective than any of EA's methods, since all the official servers were swarming with cheaters but none of the bf4db protected servers were.)

EA is a huge and extremely wealthy company and to not invest a little extra in ridding their games of cheaters is inexcusable imo, especially since its you ( EA ) that will end up feeling the financial backlash of players leaving your games when they feel cheaters are not being banned in a timely fashion.

Asia server have so many more cheaters because all the cheaters are Chinese. They advertise the hack tool publicly on stream and in game.
This chinese disease is spreading unbelievably fast. In one night, my buddies and I encountered 6 games with aimbot team.
This is ruining the game, big time. Banning doesn't do zach, even if it's a one time pay game (not to mention it's free), the china gamers have a way to use hacked credit card to get as many new accounts as they want, it has been happening to many other games since forever, like world of warcraft.
Basically, if you don't pull all the Chinese IPs in one same server. This game will very quickly go to trash, like how PUBG got ruined by chinese hacks.

Anyone wants proof, I have uploaded multiple youtube videos observing the hacker pov. Obvious af. 301 AR, using holo, seeing through walls, shooting 100% head shots targets from at least 300m away, looks funny as hell.
Hell maybe we should all get one. I heard it's 2$ or something crappy cheap. See who's the best aimbot.

  • No, the only solution is to introduce the "democratic ban", ie after a certain number of reports the player is instantly banned from the game.
The number you decide I would say 7 to avoid the selective ban by teams that agree.
Introduce a "signal player" after n. reports ... out.
Many banned cheaters, some honest powerless players as well.
But somewhere you have to start, you are the laughing-stock of the deep internet, the most common definition is: "Apex legends massive cheating".

@EA_Barry Please explain to me how one person in Apex Legends can be beaten several times in a row ? Do You know something about the matchmaking mechanics that we do not ? Or You already aware that there is an exploit where one person (cheater) can access and connect to any lobby.
