Re: Easy Anti Cheat is owned by your competitor Fortnite so why use them?

I have not seen a cheater in Fortnite since Season 2. They literally sued them out of the game.

This game on the other hand is full of cheaters, even when compared to PUBG, still this game has more cheaters. Personally i uninstalled yesterday and i am not coming back, until they fix it. I am not going to support or give my money to a studio that cannot admit * up when it comes to cheaters and that 2 months in refuses to listen to the community to anything that matters. They are literally Blizzard v 2.0 right now. That was the reason i abandoned all Blizzard titles and so did all my friends, the devs never listened to the community, never communicated in a transparent way, never gave a * about the majority of the players.

At this point it is apparent that they need to break any contract they have with EAC and get VAC (even if that means releasing the game also in Steam) + mobile authentication + HWID bans + Credit Card Number blocks. There is no other way to get rid of the cheaters. Continuing to do what you do and expecting a different result is the definition of madness. They have the money to move on and get a better anti-cheat. And if they need more money they can always lower their cosmetic prices.

  • @Karsot Also, vac doesn't scan as deep as EAC, and injecting into vac games is easier since vac doesn't give a * about their games
