Re: Caustic Nerf is Trash, How bout you fix SBMM instead

The problem isn't that he's hard to play. It's that he's useless. My aim is avg to match my avg player statistics and I'm fine with that. My friend just played him last night with me and he's someone with a lot better aim than me. I watched as a bloodhound thirsted me then went up in his caustic ult and 2 canisters and killed him and my other friend and then just walked away. If there was stacking dmg and this nerf didn't happen we wouldn't have died in that situation. I still would've been thirsted bc I was already down but, my friends would've beyond been ok and could've just resed me after. His ult does 5 dmg a tic now and his canisters do 6. You can out heal it with a syringe if you need to which makes it useless. Caustic is useless compared to others in the open. Horizon has her grav lift, lifelines useless ult can be used to create impromptu cover, bangalore can't even see in her own smoke so no one is seeing her & even rampart got a buff making her shields extremely useful and providing so much capabilities outdoors. Should I continue by mentioning gibby domes and the likes? Caustic could trigger a canister out doors, that's a given. The source spread of gas is so limited though ppl just aim from outside the range and kill you. They don't even need a digi threat or blood hound sight bc unlike bangalore you can see through caustic gas. So sry my dude but, if you wanna argue he's not useless compared to other characters now, you're wrong. He could only push effectively bc his gas did so much and now you can't even camp effectively bc it does so little. I've played and talked with many ppl after this nerf came out and my friend said it during her stream yesterday "there's nothing scary about caustic gas anymore" jumped in an ult herself and then killed the caustic and his team and walked away taking almost no dmg. Not to mention she used a stim when entering and still didn't lose half her health. She fully admitted that she only did that bc he's nerfed now and she never would've done something so stupid if he was still the way he was. Unlike the brainless ppl who complained about pushing caustic and dying she's upset about his nerf and ahe doesn't even play him. The problem is he has no use left other than slowing down ppl with the gas and that doesn't do anything bc like I said getting out of it is easy heirloom spd buff or no. His gas is so unnoteworthy now though that ppl don't try and run they just fight in it and it ruins the character. I've been on both ends of caustic and dying to his gas sucks but, I'd never complain about a nerf like the ppl who face me and sit in my gas healing or resing until it's a 12-14 tic and then they'd die. At that point they're complaining bc they're stupid not bc the characters broken. Caustic is useless now and they need to revoke the nerf or find a middle ground of a 10 dmg cap or something bc even loba is more useful now and her and octane were the most useless characters in the game before this. Heads up to devs if they wanna nerf someone else, I'm switching mains to blood hound and rampart while I wait for you to get your heads out your * and fix caustic. If you wanna not be dumb and do nerfing that needs to happen, how bout you nerf the grav lifts strafe and nerf horizon into the ground or find a better way to nerf wraith than some minor hit box changes. They're both still the top 2 played legends bc of how broken the are. Where's your statistics that get them nerfed into the ground?

Isnt his hitbox and by extension Gibby's the size of a barndoor?
Yeah sure he has a gun to but he's far more easy to hit then most other champs, thats why they had to implement that damage resistance which is at best a band aid on the bigger problem.
His abilities are a crutch that he cant just kick off cause he was designed for specific purpose and he doesnt even get to do that well as most people just rush through the gas and dome ya.
