We on console really dont need to complain about cheats when you compare it to PC

Xim usage etc is a console issue that the manufacturers dont have the requisite interest in dealing with. Its not for game devs to deal with.

Can you imagine getting even a temp ban from a false positive with this? :/ I would go nuclear

(Edit) - In a perfect world the anti Xim stuff etc would happen but any of Respawns limited resources earmarked for anticheat should be focussed exclusively on PC as their game can be unplayable atm.

    Maybe you are roight out there but this devices have a clear signature.

    BTW: some of you players are perfect controller players which can handle that easy , but this is only 5% of all, all others have to deal with controllers , and i am not bad too ! Its the same problem here why i quitted PUBG on Console : unfair gaming ! This devices make a massive advantage over normal controller players. And this 1 of 50 Players is frustrating all other players. Your are loosing happiness in knowing those unfair things. My teammates and i where shooting massive amounts of bullets in the opponents and could hard get them down and then 3 or 4 shots from someone and your down ? WTF should that?

    I know that other players are thinking as well and its not our problem, but player amounts are going down. The last 20 Games i was killed from people with 1000+ Kills ! WTF? The Problem is too that they mix the regions of players from Europe and Far East. PUBG has the same Problem, no functional Region lock. Thats why LAG is so massive too

    Don't take away my chronusmax!!! Just kidding, I hardly use my chronusmax. I only have it on my ps4 to not play with a ps4 controller cause that controller is designed for small children and it physically hurts my hands after playing for like 30 minutes. But I don't play apex with it, since I don't play apex on my ps4...

    Hey 🙂 i have no problem with the devices as themselves -> the scripts are the problem : look at the video ! A normal use of this device even using a mouse and keyboard is no problem, but the anti recoile scripts and permanent fire , headlock, .... WTF should that be ? Its CHEATING pure

    btw i am playing Battlefield V too (only Multiplayer Modes) and there is not such a problem like in Apex Legends. Dont know why , but in BF5 i have no Problem to fight against and in BF5 i would not think about XIM or Cronus Max, its not even so obvious like here.

    @Anonymous More competitive players playing apex than BF5 would be my first guess rather than thinking someone is cheating.

    The video you showed shows the "headlock" and aimbot feature as not even locking onto the targets 100% of the time. Thats not how aimbots work.

    The only thing thats a real concern is the anti recoil thing but honestly most of the things you see in that video are things that solid players do day in/day out without any help.

    If it makes it easier just force yourself to work on the assumption that you just met a good player because your lived experience is exactly the same. Your only option is to get better to beat them and unlike REAL hacks - its 100% possible.

    The Xim stuff can be applied to a standard controller with some passive electronics and a $1 micro controller, Detecting Xim and such is not possible without standing in the room.
