Bot Royale is no longer beginner-friendly due to matchmaking issues

In Bot Royale mode, experienced players are being matched into lobbies intended for beginners, which defeats the original purpose of the mode.

As a result, new or low-skill players are often eliminated early by highly skilled players, making the experience feel no different from standard casual matches.

Bot Royale was presumably designed as a low-pressure environment for new players to learn the game, mechanics, and gunplay. However, the current matchmaking undermines that purpose.

I would like to suggest the following improvements:

- Restrict experienced or high-level players from entering Bot Royale

- Implement stricter skill-based matchmaking within this mode

- Ensure the mode remains a beginner-friendly environment

Please reconsider the intended role of Bot Royale and adjust the matchmaking accordingly.

  • Restricting high-level players from the mode is probably not something they would even consider. Strictly speaking, they have as much right to bots as any of us.

Stricter sbmm is an impossibility. If they could do it they already would have. And if they did then the high-level players would just saddle up in their secondaries and demolish the entire lobby just the same.

The only way to keep the mode from turning into the pubs-style **bleep** hole that it's already become is to put a bots-only button in the lobby, allowing every single player to opt out of live enemies in a mode that should never have had them to begin with. And it should be two buttons: one that allows the player to choose bot-only enemies, and the other to choose bot-only teammates.

Respawn: Get live players out of my PvE game mode!
