@SuperblySim The rewards are saved in the usersettings.ini in your documents folder. Did you mess with the folder in any way ? Did you loose anything else ?
Backup the file after each unlocked reward.
I didn't personally open any of the folders or mess with individual files, I was transferring the game to a new SSD drive and used the steam function to verify the files afterwards. I didn't lose anything else, including save files, but when I reopened the game after it was showing the beginners tutorials again. I'm sure the files just got lost in the shuffle somewhere.
So if we really want to be safe in this regard should we just create a backup of this file every time we unlock something?
Event Rewards Have Disappeared TWICE.
The first time I lost them, I had repaired my game and done a folder refresh. The next time, I logged in all of the rewards I had earned were GONE.
The second time was last week. I had just claimed the 4th week of rewards, and the next time I had logged in they had all reset. I had not repaired my game or done a folder refresh. They had just disappeared.
I opened up a ticket and was told to post here. It seems there is no solution from EA currently on how to get back any lost rewards.

Thanks for the response. I actually have the ini file from the folder refresh and I believe it may get me back to week 3 so I can give it a try.

It gets worse on further investigation:
my EA app did an automatic update and I had to redownload every single pack I own (virtually all 40 of them grrr!) then created a sims4 folder in one drive???? which became my default location and all my folders including backups that were local on my pc are gone all my saves from 2014 gone. I cannot find any of the old files I cant seem to remove the new location folder in one drive and when I tried to repair it failed and took me to the beginning of the game as if Im a new player and any new sim I create is completely bugged out. I was pretty disappointed when I discovered all the login rewards I had unlocked were gone but I cant tell you how devastated I am that Ive lost 10 years of gameplay just like that with no hope of recovering them. To think of how much time and money Ive sunk into this game and its this broken I think Im done I feel sick at the thought of starting over again with the likely risk of this happening again.
