Midlife crisis activities from packs I do not own

My sim is having a midlife crisis and this is my first time having a sim do that and the game is suggesting activities from packs that I don't have to fix his problems like he wants to go cloud gazing or stargazing but I do not have the pack for that and he wanted to go camping but I still can't do that?? Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this or do I just need my sim to wait it out?
