IMHO Rookies should only be playing with or against rookies or Bronze.
My basic thought on this is players should only be able to play with or against players of one rank higher or lower than their rank.
Soo if you are Gold and your buddies are Bronze no playing rank together until they rank up to silver on their own.

But hey, no nefarious code or EOMM in the matchmaking (if one tends to believe the official narrative) ...
Queue is filled with 300 people but MM still looks for the worst mate for me and waits another 5min.
The inner workings wont be disclosed because "ppl could try to game the system", what a joke.
There is tons of MM systems that have been proven to work even their inner workings have been openen to the public for every one to see.
Seems like the system isnt designed very well if a disclosure would lead to such actions.

@deulcoat least you know its a Rookie ... i get "hard carried or boosted Diamonds" that do like 10% of my damage if any ,they die first ... but have that fancy diamond badge and trail ... rank doesnt equal skill , a fact !
im ok with with getting ranked in any section which the game puts me in ... as long as the ranking is skill based.
sorry , Diamonds that dont even know the basic tactics and the features of their chars dont belong in that rank, not even in Gold !
