Neon Reticles in Apex Legends

Hello,

In most video games players like to change their controls. Rebinding WASD (W(walk forward),S(walk backwards),A(strafe left),D(strafe right). Maybe rebinding A.D to Q.E could help some players out on some games. On controller it's the equivalent of changing set controls to something like southpaw.

The point is this, the EA devs have stated previously that rebinding a key is an "egregious" thing to do. Something that almost every player does fundamentally to fit their specific needs.(Example: One of my friends does not have all of his fingers and he has to rebind keys to make the game work). Rebinding a key being "egregious" is major red flag of concern for many reasons.

1. Cheating in Apex is a major problem.

2. Sound bugs in Apex is a major problem.

3. Server latency and low tic rates are also issues.

Why would a company invest into changing the mechanics in-game and not into MAJOR quality of life changes for the players themselves? The act of not taking action on cheaters (by investing into better anti cheat), sound bugs, and low tic rate servers is an action itself. It shows where the priorities of the company actually are and in my opinion player quality of life is not a major priority to the company. For whatever reason though, minor in game changes seem to be a major priority: Tap Strafing and Punch boosting for example (Both Controller and Mouse and Key can "Tap Strafe" and both input methods were both able to "Punch Boost"....Google tap strafing if you don't know how, it's a ton of fun.)

And now, EA has removed "Neon Reticles" from Apex Legends. Personally speaking, I'm part color blind and the neon reticles actually let me hit saturations with the reticle that made it VERY visible to me for the first time. It was removed and I'm not sure why. Maybe a Blue Reticle is fine but if it's TOO Blue, it's egregious and must go. Honestly, there was no reason for Neon Reticles to be removed. On a personal level it really sucks having seen a very visible reticle for the first time only to have it taken away because of what has a proven history to be a terrible priority list. I would rather EA invest coding time into a better anti-cheat, sound bugs, and server latency/better tic rates over removing Neon Reticles.

Anybody have ANY idea why this is gone?

Feel free to google EA's Net worth and EA to Remove Tap Strafing articles to verify info.
